SIA Philadelphia Car Barn Tour:
Strawberry Mansion Bridge
In addition to serving points within Fairmount Park, and Woodside amusement park,
the Park trolley was a useful transit link between North Philadelphia and West Philadelphia
particularly during winter months when the Park trolleys were through routed
between both terminals.
In North Philadelphia, passengers crossed Ridge Avenue to board Route 7, 8 and
39
trolleys at the 33rd & Dauphin terminal (see
next page).
The Park trolley terminal at
Belmont Avenue & Parkside Avenue in West Philadelphia
was located across Parkside
Avenue from the terminal that served trolley routes 38, 38A, 40 and 43.
