New rails, elevated above the new floor level, are visible in this view of 2-bay. A 3-alarm fire on June 13, 1995 damaged 1-bay and destroyed five buses. There have been at least two previous costly fires inside Callowhill Depot over the years: one in 1949; another in 1950.
