1949 Marmon Herrington trackless trolley no. 484 with pole problems
The 400 series trackless trolleys had 59 painted on their flanks because like the Broad Street Subway,
Route 59 is owned by the CIty of Philadelphia. The City owned the 400 series trackless trolleys, not PTC nor SEPTA.
