The last PTC double-end trolleys were withdrawn from service by late 1957.
Route "38A car turning south-west from Parkside Avenue onto Creighton,
four short blocks from the end of its line at Jefferson, Fairmount Park
to the left. Route 38A was a shuttle between routes 70 on Jefferson and 38 and
43, which looped on Parkside, opposite the eastern end of Concourse
Lake."
