In 1977, Transport Workers Union Local 234 struck SEPTA City Transit Division for 44 days, idling Philadelphia's buses, subways, and the PCC fleet.
In this view during the strike, PCC cars fill 7-bay, 8-bay and 9-bay. The roll-up doors to 10-bay are closed.
