Luzerne Depot When completed in 1912, Luzerne Depot's huge car barn included space for 355 trolley cars.
This allowed PRT to close a number of North Philadelphia's
old car barns, most of which dated back to horse car days.
Luzerne Depot became an all-bus garage in 1992 when Routes 23 and 56 were "temporarily" made bus lines.
