| PCC-II control console is like that of the Kawasaki LRV | ||

Unfortunately the six-inch wide blind spot right up the center of the windshield was not corrected (visible on the right side, in this photo). The blind spot was put there by the ham-fisted General OverHaul SEPTA applied to these cars in the 1980s. With $1.2 million spent on each car, why wasn't this corrected? | |
